This fable reminds me of the hundreds of women I have worked with through the years, sitting in a pot of boiling water of fear, resistance, shame, codependency, grief, confusion, and lack of worth.  While it may be a different pot, the one thing they all have in common is, waiting, waiting and more waiting.

Waiting for what, you might ask.

  • For the right time
  • To feel like it
  • For a loved one to change
  • For more money, a sign, permission
  • For more time
  • To figure things out on their own
  • For life to get easier (and it never will!)
  • When….(fill in the blank)

Four years ago, I attended an Ayahuasca retreat where I experienced profound healing and vision.  I saw myself running with a sense of urgency from woman to woman, saying Wake Up, Wake Up, It’s Time to Wake up.

It’s time to wake up.
It’s time to step up.
It’s time to rise up from your slumber on the sidelines of your life.
It’s time to step up to your healing, purpose, power, and worth.
The world needs you, I need you, and other women need you.
IT’S TIME TO WAKE UP
PLEASE  WAKE UP!!!

I knew from that moment on that my purpose, my calling was to provide a safe space for women who are caught in the silent trap of codependency, waiting for things to change to begin to wake up to themselves, their strength, purpose, worth, and power.  To break their silence, let go of their shame and shed light on their secrets.

I knew with a deep sense of urgency that time is short and the time is now, there is no more waiting for life to get easier, for your loved one to change, to be thinner, smarter, have more money, more time, or feel better.  Your time is now!

Are you WAITING and if you are, what are YOU waiting for?

I’m going to go out on a limb with love and boldly say, it’s time to stop waiting!

A place to start to stop waiting is by joining Sunday’s breathwork practice.  It’s a place where you can begin to tap into and release fear, resistance,  old patterns, stuck emotions, and trauma, it’s a place where you can begin to take action and let go of your waiting.

When you heal, I heal, and when I heal you heal, and when we heal other women heal, and together we create powerful change in our homes, community, and the world around us.

If you have questions or just want to chat please schedule a free call.

If you want to change and are willing to take action, even if you are afraid, join me next Sunday for breathwork to release fear and resistance.  We all have it, but we don’t have to carry it.

It’s time for women to rise up, show up, and to join together in healing, love, service, and change.

With Big Love and Deep Gratitude,
Mikki

About Mikki Proffitt
My mission in life is to create a space where women like you can share your stories from a place of truth, vulnerability, and safety. Where you can be raw and real, without masks or pretense. You can come as you are, feel seen, heard, held, and witnessed without judgment, and be surrounded by love. As a woman whose own healing journey through childhood trauma, abuse, and addiction I have spent over three decades in a career of service to others as an addictions counselor, trauma-informed breathwork, grief movement, and EFT Practioner. My deepest desire is that my work helps women end their suffering as they remember who they are, reclaim their power, and reignite their purpose.
