Let me ask you a question, and my request is that you take a moment to reflect and answer with complete and radical honesty.

How big is your self-love, and how do you love yourself?

How big is your self-worth, and how do you embody and express your self-worth?

This past week I met with an amazing and powerful group of women who are diving deep into their core values work in my Foundations of Change program.  What I was reminded of as I witnessed these women wrestle with reconnecting with their hearts as they came face to face with those parts of themselves that they had forgotten, abandoned, misplaced, or disconnected was that you don’t know what you don’t know until you know.

Suddenly they knew!

Do you know what those parts of themselves were?

For the majority, those misplaced parts were self-love and self-worth.

Do you know why?

Because they had, like so many women, been caught in codependency, they had given all of themselves to others and didn’t even realize that they had abandoned themselves.

It was a profound moment of realization and awakening where something powerful began to occur.  Each woman began to feel and acknowledge her own presence, and within that moment of awareness, she had changed.

The question I love to ask of my clients is, And Now What?

Here’s the and now what…

Big Love and Big Self-Worth is when-

  • You keep showing up for yourself. That is Self-Love.
  • You keep doing your work. That is Self-Worth.
  • You keep stepping outside your comfort zone, being willing to get a little uncomfortable because on the other side of your discomfort is where everything shifts and changes.
  • Don’t wait until you feel like it or have it all figured out. That day simply won’t come, so why not take that next step into the unknown? I promise you nothing changes if nothing changes!

Stop wasting your life away and take a risk on yourself! Something profound might be waiting on the other side of discomfort if you give yourself a chance!

I’d love to chat with you about your next steps, possibility, and anything in between.

With Big Love, Mikki

About Mikki Proffitt
My mission in life is to create a space where women like you can share your stories from a place of truth, vulnerability, and safety. Where you can be raw and real, without masks or pretense. You can come as you are, feel seen, heard, held, and witnessed without judgment, and be surrounded by love. As a woman whose own healing journey through childhood trauma, abuse, and addiction I have spent over three decades in a career of service to others as an addictions counselor, trauma-informed breathwork, grief movement, and EFT Practioner. My deepest desire is that my work helps women end their suffering as they remember who they are, reclaim their power, and reignite their purpose.
